So remember this sweet little family of turtles?

I loved the background but I couldn't quite get the turtles right. All it took was a commercial with a sea turtle gliding through the beautiful blue sea for it to finally click in my head. I don't even remember what the commercial was about.
Back to the drawing board I went.

And now we're on our way.
I'm goin' with the shell on the right.

This piece was done a couple of years ago. It sat taking up space in my studio because something wasnt quite right. Have you ever looked at a piece and felt there was just something that didnt quite click with it? Yet the bones of the design were strong and I felt it had some serious hidden potential.
Well after pulling it out, dusting it off and diligently working away I think it's finally done.
