So For Christmas my family got me a new camera. A digital 35 mm which I have been working very hard to learn how to use. My background is in photography but the old fashion kind that involved film, chemicals and darkrooms. I was the queen of manuel photography. However my version of manuel and my new digital camera's version of manuel are vastly different so bear with me while I try to master this modern beast and provide you with better exposed, less blurry (unless I intend it) pretty pictures.
First up - as I mentioned in the early post my Mom commissioned me to do a piece on a Monarch butterfly. It is for a friend of my parents who's wife passed away a few years ago. She loved Monarch butterflies....very sweet

The finished product!
Also here are some better shots of the abstract I mentioned in my previous post.
Remember the one where I'm warring with myself over color choices and have admitted my craziness?
Remember that one?
How could you not?!
It's where I came out to the world and admitted what a nut job I can be in my creative processes
Oh well - here's hoping a pretty painting will make up for the fact that there's a crazy train running lose :)
